I'm curious to know how many here wear corrective lenses that grew up with CRTs vs LCDs and rampant smartphone use.
I'm 36 and AFAIK my vision is quite good. I grew up in front of the TV with NES and SNES (mostly Sim City) and later on in front of EGA and VGA monitors up until the early 2000s when I retired my dual 21 inch Mitsubishi DiamondScan and a 20 inch Samsung setup and went with LCDs. I also have read a decent amount of books during that time, and so far require no corrective lenses. I'm sure the day will come by the time I am 45.
However, I only spend about 10 minutes a day (tops) looking at my smartphone screen (I don't have a data plan and my phone is quite aged).
I heard about this study on the radio today and found something similar on line:

Out of curiosity, how many of you wear corrective lenses as a result of computer VDT use?
