I bought a Shuttle XPC machine that had been modified to house ITX motherboard.

Power supply (Enhance brand) was dead on arrival, I will recap it but maybe I'll just order a replacement for now.
You can clearly see some bulging capacitors -- cheap crap.
I then tested the motherboard a bit together with YMF744 sound card.
Windows XP and Dosbox in 640x400 looks pretty great on a CRT monitor.
Did not like the color scheme so I decided to paint it, I went for two-tone anthracite grey / metallic pink.
I have the choice between two motherboards for this build:
Gigabyte GA-GC230D (Atom)
VIA EPIA PD (C3)
I did test the EPIA with MS-DOS, but I could not reliably get
DSDMA working with the Yamaha card. Therefore I think I will just
use the Atom board together with DOSBox, less hassle that way.
Another thing I will add is a Kryoflux board and two floppy drives
for disk dumping. There's no software for XP so it will have a dual-boot
Linux installation as well.
