Sound Canvas General MIDI low sound output

Postby Grub3r » 2018-9-15 @ 08:40

Hi good folks.

Im using sc55 for old games and have this annoing problem.

The music volume is too high or the sound is too low

When two are playing together the sound is at very low volume compared to the music.

So I need to adjust music volume to very low and sounds to max and ofcourse turn the master to very high.

Ive connected 3.5 jack to rca from speaker out on AWE32, ive also tried line out with same result.

This is very annoying. Does anyone have seen or experienced something like this?

Thanks grub.

I have maybe found the solution.
Editing output levels of the line in the mixerset did change the sound picture.

Ask old hardware and driver/configuration questions in Marvin. This forum is for DOS games on modern systems. viewforum.php?f=60

Moved to Marvin -> Sound.
