Socket 3 PCI 2018 - Reloaded

Postby Aqua » 2018-12-08 @ 01:47

Some asked me why I like Socket 3
motherboards and use AMD 5x86
processors instead of using a
Pentium?
The answer: Pentium 1 is a bit boring and Sockel3 with 3dfx
Voodoo1 is an interesting combination.
Here are some technical pictures from my Zida4DPS Tomato Board.

Primary Videocard: S3 VirgeDX 875, 3dfx Diamond Monster 4MB, Opti USB Card, SB16 AWE Isa with Korg Wavetable Daugtherboard, Vadem VG-469 Isa-Pcmcia Card with 64GB Sandisk CF inserted for use as 3rd Harddrive.

Sega ManxTT Superbike 3dfx.

Very nice - 486 systems are, to me, the most interesting.

That's a really nice system. Those screenshots sure bring back a lot of fond memories to me.
