Hi,
Got today a good looking Acer M11A Socket 8 motherboard. All looks good, it does POST and get video signal, except the PS/2 keyboard is not detected. Keyboard works on another system from that era.
Tried USB keyboard with PS/2 adaptor - no joy either.
The motherboard has 2 PS/2 connectors, and none seems to work - none of the two keyboards are not detected.
Any ideas or suggestions what could be damaged, and how this can be fixed? is replacing the PS/2 sockets an option?
