The Total Hardware 1999 guide is a (thankfully) very widely mirrored collection of jumper settings, spec sheets, etc. If you're on this board, you've probably used it.
"Stas Bekman", owner of "Stason .org" uses this guide as filler content to feed you adverts for his bullshit books on "self help", "alternative medicine", "healing", among ther things. It's his site & he's welcome to do that, but he's not a doctor or any kind of registered therapist, and has no expertise in the fields he espouses. I think it's safe to say more of that is the last thing we need right now.
Unfortunately it seems that site has become the top google result for any of the TH99 articles, and some of the alternatives don't even get on the first page anymore. Worst of all, I've even seen people mention they found info "on Stason", as if it's his content.
Here are some FAR BETTER alternatives where you can find exactly the same pages, with no ads for holistic boner remedies whatsoever:
Arvutimuuseum: https://arvutimuuseum.ee/th99/
Uncreative Labs: http://www.uncreativelabs.de/th99/
Fagear.ru: http://th99.fagear.ru/
DOS Reloaded: https://th99.dosreloaded.de/
...best of all, you can even print pages from these or save them as nice PDFs without having to open the page inspector to zap all the crud.
Just as a reminder, Stas DID NOT create this content - he copied it wholesale from the original source, as did all the other mirrors currently existing. That's not a bad thing - mirroring information like this is always beneficial - but his is the only mirror that tries to sell YOU his pseudoscience and flim-flam junk along with your jumper settings.
This has been a public service announcement. Not annoyed at anyone here, just grumpy that this guy is getting so much traffic from our community.
