Hi all, unsure if this was mentioned before (I did not see it)
Windows 98se fixes/patches for modern systems, by the great Rudolph R. Loew (sadly passed), are now public domain and have been added to:
Unofficial Windows 98 Second Edition Service Pack 3.65

In combination with u98se sp 3.65 (the topic of post) + kernelex + 98SE2ME, and optionally revolutions pack, allow 98se to run on "Most modern systems"
Proof, I have a ryzen 5 3600, 32gb ram, 4tb hdd...running windows 98se as only OS (install assisted via USB portable virtual box until patches were "in")
As a bonus, using his slipstream program, and winbuilder, I have made a:
Live 98se, that is bootable from USB, that supports "most current 2021 PC's"
