Aloha !

I have a Web.It computer in my storage and wanted to play with it. One of the things I wanted to do is upgrade the memory from the standard 16Mb to the 32Mb configuration.
Howwwwwwwwwwever. I have no idea what kind of memory it is ? If I have to guess I would say : 16Mb 72-pin EDO RAM SODIMM.

Here is a picture of the current memory. 72 Pins and yeah, this is as wide as shown.
No part of the memory is hidden under the other board...

file.php?id=572

Could anyone shed some light on this ?

looks like standard edo ram in a non standard dimm form factor.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

That is what initially thought as well.
But via another forum I learned this used to be a standard for EDO-RAM.
It was used in laptops galore. But still no idea what kind of memory this is 🙁
