I had the same problem. Probably you are using the portable apps version witht the porable apps launcher. find the dosbox.exe and copy "dosbox.conf" to the same place. then 2 - 3 - 4 times clicking will work. I am annoyed by dosbox status windows because with 2-3-4 dosboxes you have 4-6-8 windows …
