All the ladies are here: https://archive.org/details/nzd_backup Nice finding, but still Nalu's missing, despite being half fish rather than a lady :D And here it is: https://archive.org/details/nvidia_demo_nalu It's not missing, it's been archived from Nvidia's website by Web Archive: https://www. …

My apologies 😔 But no there's no solution. It's not an error in your end. As said in one if the previous posts it's because of a feature AMD gives and Nvidia doesn't. You can compare it to trying a DLSS demo on AMD (you'll get an error) Yeah. :( But it's possible we can run HD 4800 demo on NVIDIA …

I didn't find the demo to download, but I know it exists. Links I tried appear to be dead. Could you help with getting that in some way? From your next post it appears you have found it eventually, but in case you haven't, check the link for "ATI/AMD Radeon demos, part 2 (Radeon HD 3000 to Radeon …

Re: List of video card tech demos

Set your card as the ATI Radeon card from the dgVoodoo2 panel. Still, if dgVooodoo2 can't do hardware tessellation (either Direct3D 11 or AMD's custom API extensions), it most likely won't work, because hardware tesselation seems like a hard requirement for that software. Now that I am thinking of …

For those of us who prefer downloading executables from first-party sources, I found out that the Nvidia and ATI/AMD Radeon demos are surprisingly well-archived in Web Archive. Nvidia demos: Page: http://web.archive.org/web/20200921115422/https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/community/demos/ …

2x scaling by averaging in DOSBox. Is it possible?

For quite a while, I have been using the "normal2x" scaler (along with ddraw output) to scale my 640*480 games to 1280*960 (windowresolution is set to this resolution in the settings). This is effectively results in 2x scaling by line repeat, which is a decent scaling option in my opinion (it …

Re: Any good Virtual8086-based DOS emulators for Windows 7?

in DOS
Those of us still using 32bit CPUs theoretically have the advantage of being able to run DOS games without the need for a virtualizer or a full emulator. But i haven't come across a single decent Virtual8086-based DOS emulator for Windows 7. This sentence really doesn't make any sense. Perhaps you …

Re: Any good Virtual8086-based DOS emulators for Windows 7?

Again, 3D Game or not, there's no emulator capable of outperforming DosBox. This is what i find perplexing. How its possible for a full emulator (DOSBox) to beat a virtualizer (VirtualBox) in terms of performance? Books say that virtualizers (VirtualBox) beat full emulators (DOSBox) in terms of …

Since you two cant understand a polite request, here is an impolite one: Stop bitching about the damn avatar here. Take it elsewhere or shut your pie holes now. If anyone wants to recommend a Virtual8086-based DOS emulator though, or knows whether i should use DOSBox or VirtualBox to run 3D DOS …

Any good Virtual8086-based DOS emulators for Windows 7?

Are there any? Those of us still using 32bit CPUs theoretically have the advantage of being able to run DOS games without the need for a virtualizer or a full emulator. But i haven't come across a single decent Virtual8086-based DOS emulator for Windows 7. Also, for 64bit CPUs, should i use Virtual …
