Can you let know which shader you are using? I am now curious why it would make the picture look better with the horizontal "pillars" of 640x480 resolution. Apologies for crashes your are experiencing, but nah... Tartar follows the MBF path, and should prefer 640x400 to 640x480 when both are availabe; there's no override for this. To be honest I have similar question, is anyone know Doom port, or other DOS game with 800×480 resolution? with doom legacy you can upscale it to 800x600 also but it would be slow, that source port is not good optimized, also maybe will crash more the win9x port can get you 640x480 tried it long …

I didn't know where to put this thread. It must have 640x480 (NOT 640x400) It must run under dos with dosbox/retroarch It must run all dooms, heretic and hexen The most close one that i found is doom legacy but that thing crashes a lot and have bad performance.

You didn't tell if you got a downladed iso from the internet or made one with your own CD. For your information, ISO don't store CD Audio redbook data. If the game uses redbook cd audio (the ones that can be played on WMP or in normal cd players) then you need an alternative image format like bin/ …
