If you are running Win98 or win-2000 then I would try Creative AWE64, Sound Blaster Live 5.1 , or Creative Audigy 2zs. These are PCI cards. Windows 98 mostly , I already put the Live ! works very nice

Final setup Pentium III copper mine 1ghz voodoo 3 3000 agp 75mb memory sound blaster live ! Get a nice score ( at least I think so I haven’t done benchmark in past )

Perfect rig for the NOLF series! What sound card did you take for this build? At the moment is with the onboard AC97. Drivers for windows 98 work ok . I can put one of the remaining PCI or look for another Live! . These can easily found.

I just finished the mobo and it seems to fit windows 98 pretty well . Northwood P4 1.8 1gb+ Geforce fx5600 128bit - 256mb . Haven't install any game yet and still have to plug the V2 in pci . Has anyone succes running Incoming (1999) in glide (or any other mode ) with voodoo 3 3000 ? I tried every version I found including the ones in bundle with voodoo 2 . In best I have a messed up screen . I saw photos from Phil's lab page from voodoo 3 agp . Any one has succes on this ?

The key is to have an early P4... It has a PC Chips M925 motherboard with universal AGP. I wanted to make sure my V3 wouldn't be bottlenecked... Since that V3 is probably running at full capacity, I have a 50mm fan on top of the heatsink, and a 120mm intake fan blowing directly towards the card. …

Totally agree with the SB0100 recommendation! I have that card installed in my P3 (TNT2) and P4 (Voodoo3) and it's really an impressive card emulation and MIDI wise... may I ask what is your configuration winth P4 and Voodoo3 ?

I understand it is more a matter of personal prefer and choice but what would you suggest for a Pentium 3 system ? Voodoo 3 agp or another agp card with 32bit support combined with a pci voodoo 2 of course the second option applies to almost any system with pci slot

I'm running a Radeon 9200/9250, but you need the Catalyst drivers version 5.5/5.6 maximum otherwise you start having issues with SSE needed. I'm having good luck with these cards. In what system you have the card ? Dos compatibility ?
