Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

But the DBGL website says it requires the JRE and I can't find a JRE that goes past 8 - the latest version as of December is 8u351 so I assumed that had to be higher than 11 in reality if it's the newest release. The only things I can find with an 11 in it are JDK and JSE, but not JRE. Hi @Krashd, …

rcblanke wrote on 2022-08-16, 21:23: FYI with the latest release it's possible to use DBGL without a full Java installation - just download the minimal JRE and extract into your DBGL folder. Is there any benefit in using the jre 17.0.4 package over the 10.0.15.1 ?

I've corrected this now, so that your cover art files should be quite a bit smaller. It will, however, not alter any …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Heya. Thanks Ronald for this excellent front-end, I started using it like 3 years ago, same reason as why you developed it (yeah, well, I'm bit lazier :D) - lack of DFend Reloaded dev resulted on it stop working as intended. Actually one of the features I have in higher esteem is the metadata import …
