I believe if you go into Add/Remove programs, the second tab on that should be related to installed windows features and you can install it from there.

Long story short - Disabling Tripple-Buffering, 640x480 pixel resolution and using the dedicated Jaruu shortcut (not "play" in config program) made it run without Jaruu spinning around. Separate issue from what I was noticing on my 98 system, but I was seeing the model spinning on my W10 box, so …

So I ended up reinstalling Windows, and that fixed the problem in the games I mentioned. Also, updating my chipset drivers seemed to have fixed some other issues I was seeing. This might be an issue with AIL drivers + Yamaha PCI cards. I had the same problem with Dune 2 and my Yamaha 724 which uses AIL as well. Try Dune 2 in your system, you can also try more games that use Audio Interface Library drivers. There is source code for AIL drivers, so i wonder this might be …

So I ran it for around 8 minutes and the monitored temperature went from ~30°C to ~42°C. Given it went up by 12°C I expect the reported temperature must be the CPU temperature so I adjusted the attached SIV32X V5.50 Temp-00 test SIV to report it as the CPU temperature.
