Hi Canadacow I've just tried your GUS version of dosbox with second reality, works like a charm! I also tried doom, but it crashes out with DPMI enabled. I've just tried Willy Beamish and the music in the intro is a bit odd, random squeaking noises and the lead instrument is very quiet. I'll carry on testing!

I've just tried Ultima 6 and in the title screen the music is out of tune. The two lead instruments are correct but the bass track is two notes off key from the sound of it. Canadacow: How was the first day on the job! Regards, Matt

Maybe octave is the incorrect word to use (being a non musician!) The emulator sounds two notes lower than the MT32; can't think of the correct terminology and it's late;) All the best, Matt

I was comparing the MP3's on your web page. Have a listen to them, the real MT32 samples are definitely two octaves higher than the emulated versions. I see what you mean Lucasierra, the emulated version is two octaves lower than the original. Other than that though the music sounds pretty damn good, with only the odd underlying tracks slightly off pitch. Canadacow: I wouldn't call it arrogance, I'd call it pride in your baby!:D
