Re: off topic... please read. for those who care.

No need to apologise. My best friend and Godfather to my son tried to commit suicide a couple of months ago, luckily I persuaded him to let me into his house having found out from his brother. First time I had ever put a real person into the recovery position. If only he had spoken to me earlier, it …

Re: Volume Control

Don't forget the general midi patch for Ultima 7 http://www.uo.com/archive/ultima7/ Otherwise the music will be rather interesting! 😜 Patch for Serpent Isle as well http://www.uo.com/archive/ultima72/

Re: off topic... please read. for those who care.

When you're feeling really low you cannot see friends that have always been there. Why do you call yourself a geek? You don't seem to like yourself very much. What you see in the mirror and what other people see are completely different things. I promise you that there are always people that care, …

He's just starting to sleep through the night now :happyhappy: :happyhappy: :happyhappy: No time for playing on the computer anymore though : …

Re: How old are you ?

I'm 28, the first PC we had was an Amstrad 1512 and I was hooked on Starglider and Digger! Before that we had a BBC Micro, brilliant machine! Even better when we got the floppy drive and ditched the cassette 🤣 Then there was the Intellivision and Astrosmash 😁

Re: Joystick for Old Games

I'd recommend any analogue joystick from Gravis, they're virtually bullet proof, and the trims are spot on. I played Wing Commander 1 and 2 with my trusty Gravis, that was when I had the 286 with 640K of RAM so I couldn't get the fancy explosions! It even survived my brother "borrowing" it to play …
