I seem to remember one of the EMM386-style apps offered some dynamic TSR unloading and a "rapid" DOS restart of some sort. Does that ring a bell with anyone?

I have Munt running on a raspberry pi 4 2gb with full GUI and it seems to run fine, all the test MT-32 midi files I'v e played sound great. Will be running some Dosbox games through it soon.

I have a feeling that will only work for the USB keyboards with native PS/2 support built in, not all keyboards support tohse passive USB - PS2 cables, will they? I think I'll pick one up just to see though.

Googling returns countless adapters to use your XT keyboard with USB port, but nothing for using an USB keyboard on an XT or AT keyboard system. Anyone know of a project along these lines? Possibly using a raspberry pi or arduino as a protocol interpreter?

DOSBox Compilation Guides You could go WAY down the rabbit hole and run Dosbox emulating a PCJr inside MS-DOS on your Pentium II without windows.

POWER.EXE was an APM thing it seems. Tandy 1000 definitely doesn't support APM!

I've found myself walking away from my old Tandy too many times, end up leaving a dosprompt up there for a day or two sometimes. Is there a simple DOS screen blanking app or screensaver app, that is TSR-resident?

Is it possible to run DOSShell from MSDOS 6.22 under DR-DOS?

I much prefer DR-DOS to MS-DOS, but I'm quite fond of DOSShell (believe it or not.) Currently dosshell reports incorrect dos version when I execute it under dr-dos 7.03, and setver doesn't seem to have any effect on that. Any advice? Will PC-DOS dosshell work under DR-DOS?

Has anyone used an old version of PC-Anywhere with a serial/wifi bridge adapter to remotely access an old PC?

Supposedly they emulate a Hayes-modem over wifi somehow. Anyone tried this? How do you "fake" the connection into the PC over wifi, do . you need two of the serial/wifi bridge adapters?

I found references to a 1.2mb 5.25" 6.22 version, and a 360kb 6.22 upgrade set, so I guess my options would be to install 5.0, upgrade to 6.22 via the 360kb images, or create my own 720kb 6.22 set. I'll try the second option first.

I've got about 8 sets of genuine 6.22 1.44mb install media but I'm coming up blank on 720kb. I'd like to get it installed on my Tandy 1000TL but it only has a 720kb drive. I suppose I could install the drive in a system with 1.44mb floppy if I need to.
