Probably one of the more well known old pre-Quikmenu menus was Automenu (in the US anyway). Here's a shot of Automenu 4.7 from 1990

Even with that one VRAM check override patch on Vogons, V2 will end up crashing on GTA3 and GTAVC. There is no OpenGL backend in GTA3. That thread is old blind advice. -opengl will do nothing. They're likely "getting results" from their host video card...

half-life's solution was to turn the bone controllers around so it looks like you're walking across parallel to the wall slowwwly, should be the same for all derivatives.

Because the whole "win95 supported in dosbox!!! here's video proof!!! please like and subscribe" are the blind leading the blind. What was once morbid curiosity here, have spun way out of control elsewhere... Also making disk images is beyond DOSBox's scope anyway. Use qemu-img instead.

RIVA 128 without a question. The blending precision being poor is a decent compromise compared to the Rage Pro's inability to alpha blend in hardware.

No. The Voodoo2's probably the fastest 3d card they can possibly use due to the relatively light drivers. Don't expect to run Unreal or anything that drags a FPU down however.

SLI doesn't work very well with games that write/read to the pixel buffer every frame either (some DX6-7 gmaes).

Just don't make Voodoo problems and don't cry, and accept that 3dfx had been surpassed long ago. I've had 3dfx cards 20+ years ago, and while I do find it fun making stuff work on them, I do respect the reasons for not supporting them. DOSBox's OpenGL output is designed for relatively more modern …
