I only handled high speed with instagib on in the UT 348 demo days but haven't bothered with it since.

With another game, I've seen that overflow artifact happen when the gamma values are set too damn high.

It's probably for signifying additional non-required CPU extensions usage, like with what many GL ICDs did in the day to report 3dnow! etc. though, it would be a little ridiculous to stick a GTX970 in an........ Athlon XP. that's like sticking a geforce2mx in a 486

What about benchmarking its low power mode? Hitting Fn+Faucet should bring it down to 66Mhz in theory

Rage Pro lacks native alpha blending so it does it through software rendering with its driver and it's slow. :( it also cannot modulate alpha blending, so stuff like the fading smoke in q3 won't be able to fade. Most games that had to fade an alpha during Rage's prime had to do it with an animated …
