Note that the word "rare" on ebay has lost all meaning by being overused for so much, so take the seller's rarity as a grain of salt

Not MX, but I can imagine the older 6x86 (not L) causing issues for getting detected as a 486. among other things

Uh, it's not about the whole GM compatibility thing. Eradicator uses it for sound effects.

Initial release and demos worked fine on Cyrix (mx at least). It really needed patching for the palette-less 3d cards (which were Riva 128/TNT at the time).

There's a lot of modified variations of SLL songs. I'm particularly annoyed by the ones with sample texts replaced with some "history" as well as one that changed some instrumentaiton of sll7

Games that rely on the monitor to sync will be slower on laptop screens. Cybersphere is an example of one such game

Penumbra Overture? No, not image searching. It looks fairly old and one of the scarce early first person non-shooters (before unity and ue4 enabled the heap of crap later on that is)
