I've witnessed the Gateway2000 P75 a damn lot in the US, particularly with it coming without cache leading to a slowashell PC not even capable of Quake at more than 8fps. It's mostly the 1995 refresh (with Action!, Windows Entertainment Packs 1-4) i've seen rather than the 1994 launch

Dune.......2000 is 😀 But as for easy to play without prior experience on IPX I don't think it gets more straightforward than Netwars (not to be confused with NetWAR which is a subscirption-based 2d overhead soldier shooter released in 1997)

When using the original source you should use the r_glDriver cvar instead of replacing opengl32.dll outright BTW that mesa rasterizer is VERY SLOW for P3/PM.

Quake2 has that problem too if you're not using a 3dfx card (which Quake2 utilizes 3dfx's gamma control extension instead)
