Noticed transparent textures in Direct3D Ramp get inverted in black & white. Bahamas 64, WinChip 240, DirectX 5, Win95C. (also to be clear to everyone here, WinChip itself is a slow CPU so 240mhz isn't that impressively fast.)

A lot of those hacked up new drivers are designed to get newer games (which require later DirectX) to (barely) run, like UT2004...

and the ones that do emulate an XT/AT that slow generally aren't stable for industrial use and don't have serial passthrough. You might need to be aware that the g in Vogons stands for games and for radio signal stuff you won't get much help for that at all here.

I wish more online video streaming sites embraced 60fps. It's the '10s and we don't have motion to keep up with decades worth of televisions, ffs. The wait for online video to stop being 10-15fps and 160x120-320x240 (AT BEST) was long enough.

The most modern Voodoo I used was a V2 in a late P4 Northwood - with no cooling whatsoever. It was stable, but I got paranoid about frying and took it out, and I didn't want to attach some heat sink or fan to it. Clocked at 93mhz FYI. No SLI either, but even then it's surprisingly fast to me.

The Hercules 3D Prophets were the big selling ones IIRC (3d Profits sometimes as called). Big, blue, fast benchmarks, and have fans that really suck. 😀

Yeah Rage Pro isn't going to cut it as it has poor alpha blending support. Half-Life uses alpha blending for all of the decals, and the occasional explosion smoke.
