You might be dissatisfied by the docking station's PCI bus speed regarding the video card, even for a makeshift retro desktop rig improvised from a laptop. Is there ISA in the dock?

For me, CTCM doesn't seem to detect and initialize, and AWEUTIL doesn't either. Using AWE64 CD driver install (which does work with an actual AWE32 including the WaveSynth crap). Could it be my rom dump?

Also those thinkpads should have the ability to do painless screen stretch, although aliased. You'll need to get the Thinkpad tools from the Lenovo site for those models

Ever suddenly restarted the level because you couldn't even see the game over screen? That has happened SEVERAL times and that usually sets off my "fuck this game" quit frustration. Where were the playtesters?

Indeed. There's a lot of 'where the hell is this hitscan coming from' and it's almost always enemies you can't see well. It makes you wonder if they're getting you through the walls. Poor damage feedback doesn't help.

Too bad I already own them physically! NOTE that Quake + missionpacks, Quake2 + missionpacks, Hexen and Hexen II all lack CD tracks. And there's still the lack of the 2009 Wolfenstein game, and the lack of Heretic II.

The 760s should have some Pentium MMX 150/166MHz cpu, 1mb Trident video chipset and ESS1688 integrated sound IIRC.

Could be the PnP bios, i've had that affect detection of the PCX2 in even P2 systems. The P4 CPU should me fine with it (I use a PCX2 with one).
