Maybe you're not using the latest version or the Saturn Bios with it? Many emu sites tend to hoard only old ones.

yeah, but Bochs is slow as hell and far less user-friendly. Like many projects, it is focused on just being on as many platforms as possible over having something working nicely.

Live! 5.1 was also popular during the 98/XP migration period but has a bad front channel jack. kX Project can swap front and back for that

GLQuake and Quake2 did support multitexturing and the particular extension it used was regressed as early as the Geforce2.

I have that problem with OpenArena starting up on Nvidia hardware, i'd have to set the videodriver to windib. FOR AN OPENGL GAME. ugh sdl can't even do basic initialization right.

Because unlike Glide, it's far in the minority for such a big undertaking to develop a wrapper for an API used by a handful of hard-to-obtain OEM pack-in games. Ditto for SGL, Rredline, MSI3D, S3D....

You need an ATI Rage card in Windows 9X on a real PC. There is no other way. ATI 3D CIF is currently not emulated.

Well... maintaining legacy compatibility isn't much of a moneymaker as regressing and making you buy new stuff. This is what the Xbone/PS4 is hoping for. DirectX is just a backend for sound, input and video these days. It doesn't do music or networking anymore. Unfortunately the alternative for …

Well, you have some awesome DAC with the host card then. I get slight blur on even 640x480 using the passthrough cable.

Yes, but you don't use IPXNET. You load up the TSR drivers (LSL, IPXODI, etc.)
