I know for sure that pentiums were at least 90 mhz and windows 2000 and xp will not work on a 90 mhz computer and if you do get it running on a 90 mhz computer i want to see a video of it on youtube.

I checked trough the technical specs at mobygames and a few need at least a 32mhz 1200 and their is quake for amiga that looks like the pc version. Their is dosbox for the os/2 and i doubt those go faster than a pentium without being upgraded. Many of those are about 32 mhz and their is dosbox for …

I can run duke 3d on a 500 mhz computer with dynamic mode and no frameskip with 6000 cycles and full graphics settings and it run nicely with dosbox 0.70 so don't say a 500 mhz commputer is too slow. The computer uses 85% usage at 6000 cycles.

A p133 can run 80's dos games with dosbox and a 500 mhz can definately run duke 3d at nice speed.

What if dosbox was released for amiga. You would not have to mod the amiga at all and it would be a good idea as amiga is still fairly popular. It would allow people to play dos games with their amiga and amiga has cd drive and floppy drive. A later amiga could handle something like dosbox. You …

The 500 mhz computer can play duke 3d with 6000 cycles and 10 frameskip on dosbox 0.70 with very good performance.

No! The computers 500 mhz but originally thought it was 1.3 ghz and the other computer is 2.66 ghz.

Have you tried using core=normal. I don't have the game but core=normal or trying different versions of dosbox may work.

Here is what i did with dosbox. I changed core=auto to dynamic and cycles=auto to 3000 in the dosbox conf file. If it's a protected mode game go to 6000 cycles with ctrl-f12 in dosbox. Just look through the game files and if a file says dos4gw then you know it's a protected mode game. Adjust cycles …

Well i have never heard of this strike commander before but have you tried all of the cores. Tried going on the mission with different cycles. You may have to use an earlier version of dosbox. You can download 0.63 and 0.65 still. You are unable to download the versions before 0.63 and yet bio …

Is their a mission skip cheat because you may have a corrupted file. You might have to use a mission skip cheat to avoid the crash.
