DOSBOX Win32 installer does not need anything else. You should just run it as any other installer. If it does not work: a) try to redownload it (perhaps you have a corrupted file) b) may be the installer wants to unpack something to a TEMP/TMP directory and it cannot on your computer - perhaps it is …

Compare architecture of PC and Amiga. Amiga was rather half console (specialised for 2D games). PC is much more universal. @priestlyboy: Yes, I know 😀. Since you already made the point about too much cycles being bad, I did not feel the need to repeat it myself. Jazz Jackrabbit is one of the games which are not dependend on CPU speed. So increasing cycles reasonably will make it work ok. Mirek

There is no precise relation between number of cycles and computer speed in MHz (it depends on what is emulated).
