Does the source include the modifications that Valve made to it to use the steam DLLs? I can't imagine their being much code involved that they would have added to use their own DLL. If all it was doing was loading the DLL and using the DLL to check and see if you are logged into Steam there should …

This is very true. I downloaded and tried Virtual PC 2007 (which is free now) and it sucks very badly. I'm running a 3.2ghz Pentium D EE with 2gb RAM system specifically custom built for gaming and it ran horribly bad. After uninstalling it I downloaded DOSbox and it runs superb.

This is interesting. The music during the intro and movies was not playing so I remounted the E: drive like a normal CD rom drive and the game is working fine after being installed.

Well, I tried to make the CD drive D: instead of E: and that was a no go. Out of curiosity though I mounted the the CD rom as a regular drive (mount e e:\ instead of mount e:\ -t cdrom) and that did the trick.

I just compiled and ran a very old program I wrote using the TP7 with crt.tpu lib. Not sure if it is updated or not though. Been a long, long time since i have actually written software in it. The app ran fine though.
