Woah, that takes me back. That's Alien Worlds, a particularly weird shareware game I used to play as a kid. Used to scare me a bit actually! I had no idea it was made in 1989, in which case the backgrounds are actually really impressive!

Quick question for owners of said board, does revision version play a role in CPU support? For example, for the first revision there doesn't seem to be any support for Core 2 Duo or even Wolfdale Pentiums. Later revisions seem to play ball just fine. My bad. I meant to say that K6-2 and below is just absolute obliteration when compared to fast Pentium II or a PIII 500, as far as games go. K6-III+ 600 performs almost like a PII 400 in the most intense 3D games. It really depends on the game.

Audio Compositor is a really cool program that allows you to convert SF2 to DLS, among other things. It's pretty handy and it does a really good job. All of the soundfonts I tried sounded identically to their SF2 counterparts on Creative cards.

Was quite a while ago, so I don't really remember the details. It probably wasn't 0.74, but rather 0.73. Default settings, Win98SE and I'm pretty sure I was fooling around with Paratrooper. This was certainly on an MMX 233.

I think Quadro4 NVS200 is based on the NV17, which can also be found on GeForce4 MX cards. As such, it's only a little faster than a GeForce 2 Ti/Ultra at best, the GF4 Ti 4400 is way faster.
