can you measure the resistance from each color pin ? From keropi pictures the problem seems to be on B3,G3,B3 they seem to be too bright. These pins should be 500 Ohms each. B3,R3,G3: 500 ohms B2,R2,G2: 1K B1,R1,G1: 2K B0,R0,G0: 4K All these check out on my board as well. Tried latest fw and also a …

I had the same issue with a 486 - I needed a PnP manager so that DOS can pick up the GUS resources: Re: How do you install the GUS PnP drivers in a 486/DOS pc? So I am pretty sure that you need to do the same 😀

Yes indeed some have. I have an ISA 5429 that has an IRQ jumper but it causes instabilities on the systems I have tried it with... The trio3d/2x doesn't have a jumper - and the "Assign IRQ for VGA" BIOS setting does not make any difference. Not sure about the EGA wonder though.

yes I am also getting the 0 value - maybe because I have MPUs in my systems that use IRQ2 ? also I have EGA Wonder 800 , a true EGA and not the + version that is vga core

Just tested this on my - ATI Egawonder 800 , modes 1 and 2 show the same message on the top left part of the screen: IRQs: 0 - S3 Trio3D/2x , all three modes display the same message as above

Yeah I've known of that opl4 board and it is really amazing. Not trying to ditch anything here, just stating that obvious lack of software. I'd love to see something working with it.

mateusz.viste MDA is fine on dreamblaster's boards, see this shot I made: I also think colors will be correct with more precise resistor networks, there is no reason for them not to be

well I tried TombRaider III with software rendering at 720x480@60hz under windows and the monitor still displays 640x480@75hz so I guess all that was for nothing.... thanks all for your help!

So I hooked up the Dreamcast on my monitor and it indeed recognizes the 640x480@60hz mode: http://i.imgur.com/8ZA2cPM.jpg so that means that either something went wrong with the flashing of the 02-02-2018 update , or that the 60hz mode does not work for EGA or that my monitor just reports things …

^ shouldn't the refresh rate at least be correct on the OSD? I need to find something that outputs a 60hz signal for sure, maybe I will try with the dreamcast to make sure the scaler is reporting things fine - at least refresh.
