Have you tried removing the opengl32.dll in the quake2 directory in order to force it to use the system's default dll? I kinda remember doing that at some point...

I would avoid the cable, just get the other device I linked with the buffer logic and the external psu input. it's CM-64 + CM-300 (CM-64 is CM-32L + CM-32P) you can read more here: http://nerdlypleasures.blogspot.de/2013/06/fi … gs-devices.html it's a good all-in-one module IMHO, has some qwirks like the CM-64 but nothing that can't be solved with some SysEx messages

I am pretty sure that some electronics cleaning spray will do wonders with that yamaha mixer, you need to get the spray inside the sliding parts and connectors - meaning you'll have to open and disassemble the mixer - but the end result might worth the investment in time !

I have found very recently that 98SE DOS does not work on a 286 pc. I know: strange. Why not? No idea. It just hangs on boot , 1 sec after reading from HDD/FDD. I even setup a 98SE DOS HDD on a 386DX (works fine there) and transplanted the HDD to the 286. No boot, no error no nothing.

It's not a good idea to run tools that don't expect FAT32/LFNs on a FAT32 system.... you can grab scandisk from 98SE for your error repairs and a 3rd party utility to defrag if needed. I've been using DOS from 98SE in standalone-mode for 10+ years now, haven't found programs other than the ones …
