Re: Roland SC-88 versus SC-88 Pro?

I like the 8820 as well, it can also act as a USB MIDI INTERFACE so you can connect your MT-32 to it, connect the 8820 via USB to your PC and enjoy old mt-32 games on dosbox 😀 Plus it has that handy button in the front to cycle though device mappings: SC55/SC88/SC88pro/SC8820

Re: Great Tek HRGPEGA EGA card, jumper settings?

hmmm could these be used so that the card is classified as "Super EGA" with 480lines resolution instead of 350? I have read about later EGA cards supporting higher resolutions but my knowledge of that era is pretty limited. I suppose I can verify the xtal connections once I receive the card.

Great Tek HRGPEGA EGA card, jumper settings?

Hiya I just purchased a Great Tek HRGPEGA EGA card but I was unable to find it's jumper settings - mainly what the J3 block does (under the 3 crystals) ... can anyone provide some insight on this? http://i.imgur.com/fWbiNPql.jpg http://i.imgur.com/fPwKSMkm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Y81Qk2Cm.jpg …
