well there's no real benefit to modify it like that unless somehow you can double the framerate/speed but at the same time half the speed of the rest of the stuff - which I assume it would have been done if it was that easy thanks for the offer though 😀

I don't remember atm the exact patching procedure (IIRC it's done under windows) but if you transfer the final files over to DOS the game will work just fine

Sure under windows you can connect a module and select it as the midi device. You can use windows apps/games and select the module for midi output. But under DOS it's not gonna happen - and I think even a dos prompt inside windows won't work either but give it a try Here is a pic of my old K6 laptop …

^ maybe you can send one to dreamblaster to analyze that custom resistor pack - most likely the worst he'll do is desolder it and then solder it back so it won't get ruined. Just a thought 😀

After all this I really feel the only way would be to examine (and maybe sacrifice) a real SP in order to replicate it. It seems there is a small detail still missing and I bet that custom resistor pack holds the answer (not that there is more to the SP anyways 🤣 🤣 🤣)
