^ sold my boxed one for 50e on AmiBay a couple of months back... it's a nice card that has problems with a handful of games, not a big deal imho if you can't get a roland one...

thanks for sharing the fun Mau1wurf1977! that desoldering station seems to be doing a great job! Personally I am dissapointed from every 286/386/486 I have tried ... the only exception was a SOYO SIS pci-based build, it was awesome. All the older builds were plagued by incompatibilities, AMIBIOS LOL …

^ it's the reason I don't want to get a SC-88 from JP , these transformers (or any other humanely priced) don't seem reliable to me ... internal PSU stuff have this "disadvantage" ... I'll most likely settle with a good-priced 88VL instead 😐

Yes, the box says "Roland LAPC-I/MT-32" and it really sounds great on the LAPC-I I use... not sure if it uses any of the extra sfx though

I have tried WfW sharing , it works but it's slow, on my setup it was ~3 times slower than mTCP's ftp server.

Overkill supports the mt-32 , is small and offers CGA/EGA/VGA modes... don't know about XT support though http://www.classicdosgames.com/game/Overkill.html
