Anyone heard anything on the matter? Did Chuck(G) made any progress or did he abandoned the project? I can PM him to ask but I don't want to bother him yet if anyone happens to know anything 😉

I am using fakecd and fakedr ... they work pretty good with a high success rate if you let them collect data from the original CD (ofcourse CDDA is not working like on other solutions)

^ I have the same pad but the previous model that is marked as a ps2 pad... works perfect but I now replaced it with a wireless xbox360 pad + pc receiver

I used several scsi hdd's on amigas... from scsi2 to uwscsi3 ... although speedy the noise was just horrible in all of them. Went to IDE and didn't look back even though it's a cpu drainer.

Just tried both U7 games on my 386DX-40 ISA build... both run too slow for my taste, I consider them unplayable 🤣 I guess a VLB machine is really needed for them... my vga is a 5424 1MB one btw...

It all started as a scheduled software upgrade from the hosting company and it was supposed to finish yesterday... unfortunately something went really wrong and the delay is way bigger.... 😵 I estimate it will be fixed by tomorrow... it already took a long time 🤐

I can't help with the dead part but I have a SNES powerpak and last week I asked retrozone what other card I can buy for it since I used the supplied DANE-ELEC card in an amiga1200 and I am too bored to format another for amiga use... His answer was that DANE-ELEC ones work awesome with the hardware …

S3 are surely a great cards and won't trouble you much! I can highly recommend the Virge/DX line, and personally it's what I used before I find out that riva cards are faster and have awesome compatibility as well. 150.2 ... that's a nice score indeed... I only know of slow ISA 256kb vgas with an ARK chipset , never knew they made a pci one
