did you try using the 1st cd/dvd drive? many old games need to be on the first optical drive to play music... I have this game since it was new , bought it with excitement only to find later that it runs crappy :pppt: in my pc... I had a voodoo2 IIRC but still gameplay was not that good... time to …

@Tetrium : yeah, even the v5500 is cool 😁 @Amigaz: not really, I have it there as an option to connect my CM32-L ... but this p3 now evolved to a windowsME-only machine so I doubt I will ever connect it there...

sounds OK , but I have no idea if custom samples can be used with pc soundcards... sure the chip supports external samples but I bet china-based manufacturers didn't bother with it...

OPL4 is just a GM device, anything that uses GM suits for testing, from DOOM to whatever game supports GM... 1MB of samples LOL I am curious to hear it too, I bet is semi-crap even though it is a YAMAHA chip (targeted for el-cheapo use ofcourse) I will see what I can do this weekend LOL IIRC I also …
