Re: What game are you playing now?

Finished Trials about a week ago , didn't bother gridning after getting all golds or better in all the tracks I decided I was done. Its fun but I would have preferred a more straightforward way to unlock tracks than grinding. Started on Wolfenstein II : The New Colossus this week. This is great , …

Re: What game are you playing now?

Finished both Metro Exodus and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. In the end both had something to recommend them. The end of Exodus was particularly strong though I was surprised by how it cut off a little early in the story i felt. Shadow of the Tomb Raider was enjoyable if not quite as interesting …

Re: What game are you playing now?

I'm still working on Metro Exodus, it hasn't really grabbed me, so I also started on Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I am slowly working my way through both though Shadow of the Tomb Raider has captured my attention far more...

Re: "New" gaming pc - em's or not?

You should be able to build a pretty good machine from scratch for 1200. Just focus on Video card as the majority of your expenses as that's the part that matters 98% the most for a gaming machine. I wouldn't put anything less than a 2060 in it.

I'm currently playing Detroit: Become Human - my first Quantic Dream came since Omikron way back when. Quantic Dream has only gotten worse with each game. I …

Re: eBay Vintage Computing historical prices database

The software should also be split into 'SEALED/NIB' and 'OPEN/USED'. Those 2 categories are something that will really affect the price and that someone might also care to differentiate between. If you are just looking for a used copy of the game the average price will be a lot cheaper if you filter …

Re: What will we do when IPv6 is fully adopted?

I'd like to give this a try, do you have a link to a guide for what I would need to edit the samba config for Windows 98 and older to be able to access it? These seem to be the options available to me in the GUI: Samba_Options.jpg I also have NFS settings, would that help with Win 98 access? This is …

Re: What will we do when IPv6 is fully adopted?

I would just a soon solve this by having a server to serve files to all my retro machines and leave them off the internet entirely...However I use a Synology Diskstation and I can't manage to get my Win 98 or earlier machines to connect to it which sucks. I'm sure there is a solution for me I just …
