in Milliways
dirkmirk's 386 machine was apparently quite usable with win95 - on the desktop at least. Thread here: http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthread.php?t=906144 not sure if you need to register to see it. Page 5 is where he installs windows.

Rise of the Triad 1.0 had worse controls and a bad control setup screen. It also had other things like stereo OPL3 music (which strangely, contributed to the input lag) and footsteps and even a longer "laaaaadada" Yes the levels in the shareware version of ROTT weren't part of the registered …

What are the model numbers of your two SB16's? I noticed some S16's are only half PnP; they need to be initialised with diagnose before they work but CTCM won't recognise them. As oppsed to older cards with jumpers which work with nothing more than a SET BLASTER line in autoexec. As jolaes said, …

I think this guy has had this for sale for a while now. I'd search for adlib and a $300 one would come up all the time. Its not even the original 1987 version.

Re: My game collection.

I have absolutely tons of old DOS games backed up on CD's, back in the day we used to swap floppies and CD's with reckless abandon. But if you want to count the games I actually paid for, here is a list of DOS games I bought when I was a kid. I still have the boxes for the majority of these: Sam and …
