I am also really into the early Pentiums. By the time the VX, HX and TX came out the Pentium had kid of lost its lustre because the price had dropped to the point where basically anyone could have one. At some point I want to do a socket 5 system as well, but it'll probably be based on Neptune. …

I think an impressive collection would have a lot of desirable components that are sealed in box. NIB never appealed to me. I like to use all of my stuff, and I'm very cheap.I also don't like clutter, so all of my stuff can fit in one closet. Where can I see the Artex collection?

I highly suspect that this board might really be based on an ALD chipset. Except for the NEC label on the chipset, it looks pretty much identical to the ALD boards.

It sounds like the Kingston turbochip may be operating in 3X mode. You might need to change a jumper in order to get it to run in 4X mode. As far as I know, the Kingston Turbochip won't really be any faster than the IntelDX4 even at 133MHz, due to the DX4's superior design (only applies to intel …

I think the main reason the 3D Bench score is higher is because the graphics card is running at 40MHz. If you do tests that depend more on integer performance, the 133 will still pull ahead.

Did Gainbery use the same interposer for the AMD and Cyrix PQFP chips? It seems that the Gainbery Cyrix 133 upgrades were very uncommon.

Your card appears to be from 1993. ATAPI drives weren't really a thing until 1995 (if I recall correctly). Therefore, I would guess it should be Mitsumi or Matsushita.
