I'd like to see the 864 vs 964 and 868 vs 968 benchmarks. I only have 964 and 968 VRAM cards, so I can't compare to the DRAM models. To me it really makes a lot of sense to remove the VRM, because really...who is going to run a POD83 on a 5V system anyway? Now what I'd like to know if there are any other ways to change the multiplier on these things...1.5X, 2.0X and 3.0X settings would be quite useful.

I don't have a hybrid 386DX/486 motherboard at the moment, but I do have an IBM 486SLC2 motherboard with VLB slots. I'm not sure if it would work, but I'm going to give it a try.

I have seen 8-bit and 16-bit RAMDACs. What is the difference if they both operate at the same speed? Also, I believe the MicroLabs card DOES support 1024x768 at 64k colours, but only in interlaced mode.

For benchmark testing you should make sure ISA bus is running at the same speed on all platforms.
