Hello, I found a used but boxed Soyo SY-5EMA+ a little bit expensive, about 120,00 USD but in perfect condition... Does it worth it to replace the current motherboard of my Pentium MMx build? I have an Asus P5-99VM. But this one has more expansion slots and no on board VGA!

I'm testing both of the roland emulators, but I think using General Midi and Sound Canvas VA sounds also good. A good example also is Prince of Persia v1.3

Yes indeed! A good clone! tpowell.ca the ESS drivers version is 2.7 for 688F.

I don't remember which drivers I use, I will tell you tomorrow when I will boot up the 386. I also found some drivers here, http://www.soundcard-drivers.com/ You can use the vogons drivers you mentioned.

My 688F is on the attached photo and has many jumpers! And CD-ROM works perfectly on the 386 build! My 1868F also has some jumpers. It's the same with the picture, but absolutely brilliant sound comparing to the SB 64 PCI (ES1370) I previously owned! http://www.amoretro.de/wp-content/uploads/ …

They 're many drivers versions you can find for DOS and Windows 3.x. I also installed an ES688F to my AM386DX40 build, and it's working perfectly.

Yes but DOSBox is better. I've just want to be able to print some old documents from Professional Write. Οnly SVN builds are supporting printers.

Thank you. I know that it isn't an official build! But it's the only version that I can print older documents on my usb printer using DOS applications. Also it supports glide and 3Dfx games. For the history it works without issues, using a .conf file from the 0.74 version. 😀

I'm experiencing some issues with the latest SVN-Daum release. Progams such as Professional Write asking for files of the program on floppy when I run them, or that is licensed to be used on 1 workstation and etc. PFS running without issues on 0.74 version. Why is this happening?
