You're just gonna have to be very patient before achieving 1.0. It's a game of time and patience ;) LOL! Well, I'm a man of of patience, so's eventually one day... :) I suppose that a lot of it is player skill... for a year my high score was only 0.73, but then one day, WHAMMO! I got 0.74 LOL! :)

I ended up just buying a 4 channel passive stereo mixer for cheap and it seems to do the job :) That's prolly a good idea :) I myself was able to get fairly balanced sound simply by running the SB16's and SBPro's DOS mixer apps from the batch files. They were text-based GUI mixers, but would accept …

On a Gateway 2000 486DX2-66, MSDOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 is definitely the way to go (and also was what was originally installed on it IIRC). SavantStrike wrote: With 16MB of ram, W95 ran fine on our P100. A P100 is considerably faster than a 486DX2-66 though 😉

I've been doing PC repair/upgrades/consultation since 1995 or so (small one-man show). Heh, I've stockpiled so much crapola that I wouldn't even know where to begin LOL! A lot of it I had to toss when I moved from Miami to out here in the woods in Crystal River , but I still moved quite a bit of it …
