I did watercooling once. Full out setup from danger den. Dropped like $400 total, for about 4 degrees cooler. So you can say it burned me pretty badly.

Well, if the engineers aren't huffing glue, a missing jumper will usually mean "off". So if you find something not working, check that first. I actually haven't seen them in a while. I would do it. I think you need to use an ESD safe plastic, I don't know if that will work in 3d printers. Cant hurt to have the designs ready though!
