Well, billions of people on earth don't have "i7 with 4 GFX cards" for whatever reasons. Pointless and a total waste of LIFE. SHAME ON THEM!!! Hehe, can't help it. :D P.S. that was half sarcasm + half joke, please don't take it seriously -- besides, I only got one GTX 470 now in my i7 rig, honest!

I'd give that system a minimum of 400W myself, just to give some headroom for the 7900GT at stock -- 350W is pushing it on the line. Did you do a clean Windows install? And more info won't hurt either (driver version, game title etc) If you just want to make sure the card's working, you can just boot into DOS and try running Tomb Raider with 3dfx patch (there's a free Glide demo if you look around).

An interesting timeframe, 1995-1996... For mainstream around the middle of 1995-1996, I'd pick a Pentium 100--on a 430FX-based motherboard I think, with at least 256kB L2 cache.
