It also happens with the CD version of Arena. Strangely enough, it have never happened for me with the floppy version.

Since this is an emulator which doesn't use any fancy 3D graphics, the drivers hardly matters. It's a simple 2D screen all the time. The crappiest graphic card should be able to handle that. isn't 64mb too much for dosbox?? No, it's not. I wish DOSBox had support for more. And that it will have support up to 128MB someday in the future. Otherwise I won't be able to play Redguard with it. Daggerfall uses about 40-45MB, and Battlespire 55-60MB so 64MB isn't that much. And DOS doesn't …

OpenGL doesn't speed up the emulation in DOSBox at all. It's not used for 3D graphics, but simply as a bilinear filter when stretching the image. It would be nice to have DOS Glide emulation with DOSBox someday, but that's very far into the future, if ever. I would very much want to see it, tho, …

The floppy version only support 320x200. The CD version can also use 320x400, 640x400 and 640x480. I prefer 640x400, cause the game was designed with the 8:5 ratio in mind.

Looks very cool! What kind of software did you use to make it? 😀 And how? 😁 It's really looks awesome 😀 But whoa! That file is HUGE! It wouldn't be friendly to use it on a site or anything at all.

Regarding the new 0.61 version. The floppy version still works fine. However, the CD version do not. About 80% of the times there's just a black screen. And the rest of the times the starting animation and game starts. I find this very wierd, since I don't make any config changes AT ALL. Same config …

Why don't you just use VDMSound instead? It will take awhile until computers are fast enough to run Impulse Tracker good enough.

CTRL + F6 is kinda easier 😉 Press CTRL + F6 to start/stop the recording of the sound output to a wave file.

Does the directories exist? Do you have "snaps" and "waves" where you installed Dosbox? I just tried it myself for the first time, and it's working perfectly for me. I use the 0.60 release and not the CVS. Not sure why it doesn't work for you.

ALT + ENTER is the Windows standard for every program that can be both in window and fullscreen mode. It's not really hard to figure out 😜
