As much as I'd love to use this program, the seeming inability to access PCEm virtual drives from the Host PC and add or remove files from it is a major setback... or is there a way to edit PCEm .img files?

True, and I still think the SC-55 soundfont you linked is inferior to the old Scc1t2.sf2. I wonder if the MUNT developers even plan to properly emulate the SC-55 one day...

It's called "Sound Canvas VA", isn't it? Has anybody attempted to convert the new vst to sf2 and pat? Each for its different presets of course (sc-55, sc-88 etc)

AFAIK, Munt is very close to completing its MT-32 and CM-32L emulation. Regardless of whether you do the CM-32P and CM-64 afterwards, do you have plans to eventually emulate the SC-55 and its derivatives (SC-55 mkii, SC-88, SC-88Pro)? There has never been a completely accurate way to play SC-55 …

I have a bug to report. Demos recorded in MBF 2.04 do not play back in prboom-plus. If you attempt to do so, you get a segmentation fault. More info on this issue can be found here.

There are two drivers listed on the company website for the es1869 embedded in the Compaq Armada 1750 laptop I am using. The vxd one works, the wdm one doesn't. ...well, that settles that. Feel free to close this thread.

The microsoft synth does not appear as a choosable option in my windows 98se laptop because of its sound card drivers. However, gm.dls still exists, and testing through dxdiag still works. Do I have to edit the registry or something to reenable this feature? edit: fixed major typo.

Are you at least willing to raise the SEGS limit and whatever other limits are necessary to be raised in order to play Community Chest 2 MAP32 and Community Chest 4? I doubt doing such a thing would be that problematic.

I highly doubt he is going to tackle Heretic and Hexen in this port. As for multiplayer, all you need is ipxboom with the -exe command and DosBox's ipxnet.

IMO, the SC-55 Preset soundfont sounds like Scc1t2 but with added echos, which seems to make the soundfont less accurate than Scc1t2. Are any of the samples different (more accurate)?

How accurate is the sc-55 soundfont you made compared to the scc1t2 soundfont based off the lo-fi microsoft samples? Which of the two is more accurate to the sc-55?
