No idea what it is. Perhaps it's a custom connector. The cable could have an USB-Serial chip built-in (TTL, not RS232). Some cellphone adapter cables from the early 2000s were like that, if memory serves.

I seond that. Also add a Z80, please (any formfactor you like; if you can. It also could be an optional circuit part the card doesn't need to function)! That would make the card a co-processor board for both retro music and retro programming (the Z80 was MD's audio processor)! 😁

Hi, the Voodoo 1 can do 3D graphics only. It's an 3D accelerator card.. If you need some drivers, check falconfly or its mirrors. For testing, you can give Final Reality benchmark a try. ^Thanks for sharing that experience of yours. Personally, I was almost going to recommend getting a UPS (uninterruptable power supply) for filtering and such, but since I had a bad experience with a very cheap UPS once (or "USV" as it's called in my place), I didn't yet. 😅
