PC/GEOS can use EMS, too, not just XMS. Definitely worth testing, IMHO. (-> Makes me wish PCem/86Box had EMS support in PC/XT machine modes!) 640K is not ideal for doing real work or running multiple programs, I think. ^Seriously, get an EMS board finally! 😉 It made Windows 3.0 fly in Real-Mode (allowed wallpapers etc). That 2MB Lo-tech card isn't the most expensive thing in the world, for example and worth checking out.

In Windows, WinImage can be used to drag&drop files from and into image files.. On macOS, no additional software is required. Just double click on an image file and it will become a drive symbol on the desktop.
