Okay, this is not quite related to the issue, but.. There are also some differences in which way DOS 3.x and earlier handle floppy drives no. three and four.. They are assigned as C: and D:, whereas on DOS 5 and 6, they come after the fixed disk drives.

Also make sure you're having a good math co-processor installed (one that's Win 3.x "compatible"). From what I learned by using AutoSketch, using it quite makes a difference. :)
