Update. Just flashed a SFR1M44 model with the Flash Floppy firmware. It seems like it works fine in my PC/XT clone so far. 😀 See Gotek fails floppy drive test

Quick update (again). I sucessfully flashed the Gotek with Flash Floppy v.0.9.6a! :D To make it work, I soldered-in a few pins to the PCB and used an Serial-USB converter : I set the jumper to "boot", connected the TX/RX pins (crossed) and powered the Gotek via the 5V and ground wires. It worked …

^When I had no working mouse, I used my Amiga 500 via keyboard. I was running the classic AmgiaOS, however (Workbench 1.3 and Kick 1.2): I recall I had to hold one of the Amiga keys and use the arrow keys to move the pointer. Not sure if this still works with newer releases. 🙁
