Re: "Period-correct" LCD screens?

in Marvin \ Video
I'm using a NEC MultiSync LCD 1550ME. It's about 15 inches and has 4:3 ratio, I believe. Motion blur and scaling are no problem, as far as I can tell (flight sims do work fine). Before that, I used to have a grey Belinea LCD screen (sorry, can't remember model number).

Re: ~1993 CD-R drive

Uhm, how good is compatibility with recent media ? I already had trouble with CD-R media at the turn of the century. Can't remember how many times I had to repeat writing a CD until I succeded. I remember that some programs like Nero Burning ROM even had a "simulation" feature. And boy, was I happy …

English títle "Yamaha DB50XG stand alone soundcard" by T. Scarff. German title "Synthesizer mit Yamaha …

Re: Powermac g5 help

As people already hinted, someone can't go wrong with Tiger (incl. OS 9 as a part of it). It's the most compatible, spanning about four processor generations : G3 ,G4, G5 and x86. Perhaps even more, if we do include the older 603/604 processsors (see this thread ). There's even a theme available to …

Re: Which XP?

Is that Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs we do talk about ? If so, yes, I think I heard about it many years ago already. But I had no idea what to make of it.. I always thought it was just another -uhm- restricted version of Windows, just like Windows XP Starter Edition , in which you …
